AAOIFI
Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions
The global standard-setter for Islamic finance; its Shari'ah Standards are internationally recognized benchmarks.
AAOIFI is the international body that issues accounting, auditing, governance, and Shari'ah standards for Islamic finance. Its standards are widely recognized benchmarks across the industry.
Mudarabah structures are addressed by AAOIFI Shari'ah Standard No. 13. Referencing an external standard lets a structure be measured against a published benchmark rather than a self-assessment.
